Kate attended a class at the police department in July that allowed her to learn a little bit more about what her dad does at work each day. She was a little nervous to go, as she wasn't going to know any other attendees. In the end, though, she really enjoyed her day. Her favorite part was learning about the canine officers, which isn't surprising.
Since the PD is having a hard time getting enough officers through the academy, Kate might get called up sooner than we think. Go mini Lieutenant!
