Hair

Look how thick her hair has become, and it does have some natural curl!  We know we are biased, but we think she is one beautiful lady.

An Appointment with Dr. Audrey

When Audrey was born, she received a doctor-themed teddy bear.  We just pulled it out on one of our winter weekends, and she has loved playing with it!  Here is what an appointment with Dr. Audrey Paulsen would entail.

Dr. Audrey puts the stethoscope around her waist to listen to your heart.

After checking all the vitals, Dr. Audrey realizes that something is terribly wrong.

She looks up your symptoms immediately in a medical book and helps you figure out the proper treatment.  What a great doctor!

Peek-a-Boo!

Audrey loves to play peek-a-boo around her crib.  She'll go on one side and ask you to go on the other.  After playing that way, then she wants to switch spots.  She can clearly say, "PEEK," so it's even more fun to play with her.  Her vocabulary right now just amazes us!

Let's Shout it from the Rooftops!

Audrey is finally feeling better!  After a week on an antibiotic and some good nights of rest, Audrey is back to her healthy self.  Her smaller-than-usual appetite has also come roaring back.  We are so glad to have her healthy again and hope this is it for awhile.

Sick, Sick, Sick

After being healthy through most of the winter, sickness has hit us hard. Jeremy has managed to stay healthy, but Audrey and I have been down for the past few days. We are starting to feel better, though! Despite a stuffy nose, cough, ear infection, and upset stomach, Audrey has remained a cheerful patient.  She's been much more cheerful than I have!  Here are a few pictures of us having some more winter fun, back when we were healthy.

Ready to go sledding, Dad!

Even Halloween window clings can provide entertainment on a snow day!

Hey, I can see Dad shoveling!
Comfy footwear is a must for snow days.

Some days we will do anything to entertain ourselves!

Snow Days...

are so good for learning new tricks.  Audrey has now mastered an important skill--being able to pull down her pants.  Maybe this means potty-training is in the future!

Happy March!

Audrey was reflecting this weeked on last March, which was full of warm weather and walks in her stroller.  She decided to defy the current weather, put on her sunglasses, and enjoy some frozen yogurt.  She wholeheartedly loved the frozen yogurt experience and quickly realized that holding two spoons could speed up the eating process.  She could just keep scooping and scooping, without having to take a break!
