Audrey has despised being on her tummy from the beginning. She still has a really strong neck, even if she hasn't been appropriately practicing. Lately she's been doing "tummy time" for longer stretches of time, but the look on her face says it all!
A blog to celebrate the life and times of our two adorable little girls!

3 Months!
How quickly time goes! Audrey will be three months in about two hours, so I am posting early again. :) She continues to be such a wonderful baby. Her RSV symptoms are nearly gone, except for her stuffy nose. She is so happy, a great eater, full of cooing and talking, and loves listening to music and books. Her next doctor's appointment isn't until four months, so we do not know how much she weighs. All we know is that her 0-3 month stuff is starting to get very tight and very short! Here are her pictures again:

When Audrey's away...
Close to Rolling!
Tonight on her play mat, Audrey showed signs she is either close to rolling over or attempting to strengthen her core muscles through yoga. It was fun to see her get her little legs straight up in the air. Now if we could just get her to cooperate with "tummy time" a little more...

Happy Valentine's Day!
Audrey loved her first Valentine's Day! She attended a dance at Dana's house on Monday, and she got all dressed up for the occasion. She was gorgeous! We're not sure how many boys she danced with. She also was ready to deliver a present to Dana, just to say thank you for all the fun she has at her house. Jeremy had to get her ready that morning, and I think he did a pretty fantastic job.

Hats
Audrey does not seem to enjoy having hats on her head. Whenever she is in the car seat, she shakes her head back and forth until the hat covers her eyes. When I brought her home from daycare on Friday, she was asleep in her seat. I left her in her seat on the living room floor while I unloaded the car. All of a sudden, Jeremy and I heard funny noises from her seat. This is what we saw:
Grandma's Visit
Since Jeremy went to Chicago this weekend, Grandma Ihde came down to visit Audrey. We had a great weekend together. Audrey enjoyed shopping on Saturday, even though she slept through most of it. She woke up when we got to Younkers and seemed shocked to wake up an hour later, still in Younkers. She'll learn!

Super Bowl!
Audrey is starting to feel a little better, which is great! She is still quite congested in the morning when she wakes up, but it gets better as the day goes on. Even though she wasn't in top form over the weekend, there are certain social opportunities that cannot be missed. The Super Bowl is one of them! She was very excited for her first Super Bowl party.
| Quickly the girls at the party realized there was much more to do than watch the game! :) |
| When you party hard and are still a little under the weather, this is what happens on the drive home that is five blocks long! |

Woes of RSV
Audrey was diagnosed with RSV on Thursday. She has been really congested and coughing quite a bit, especially when she first wakes up in the morning. The doctor says it is a mild case, so we are crossing our fingers it stays that way. She has not had a fever at all, so that is a good sign! Our weekend will probably be filled mostly with this:
Our doctor recommended a new way to suction out her nose. It is the grossest, but most effective, method we've tried. One end goes at the base of her nose, and the other end goes in my mouth. It's called a NoseFrida. There is a filter in between, so nothing passes, of course! :) It has worked SO well. Jeremy is completely disgusted by it, so I guess I'm on my own.
Even though she has been sick, she has still been our smiley, happy, beautiful girl! We hope rest this weekend will help her start to improve.
