Invention Convention

This week Audrey participated in her first-ever Invention Convention. She worked with one of her best friends on an automatic guinea pig feeder with an attached camera. Over the course of six weeks, the girls gathered feedback from people, created a prototype, worked on a budget, crafted a speech, and ended with designing a poster board. Even though more last minute finalizations occured than Jeremy and I liked, the girls squeaked by with a finished product. As an added benefit, Audrey's teacher let them take the two class guinea pigs to the presentation. Audrey admitted later she thought the guineas distracted from her speech.☺️ We were very proud of Audrey's confidence to speak to people attending the open house. She is definitely growing up!

Lucy's Party

Last weekend, we had so much fun celebrating Miss Lucy's 3rd birthday. The girls have had so much fun playing with Lucy as she has gotten older, and the same happened at her party! Between a pinata, pop tubes, and bubbles, it was a fun time celebrating a sweet girl. Happy Birthday, Lucy!
