Pumpkin Patch

A couple weekends ago, we made our annual trek to our favorite pumpkin patch.  Since the weekends had some crummy weather, we had to settle for a very cool Sunday afternoon to go.  Both girls were excited for a pony ride, and we kept our fingers crossed the excitement would hold when we got there.  Luckily, their friend Brie was working with the ponies, and having her there helped both girls feel much more comfortable.  It was another successful trip to the pumpkin patch, and we were very happy with the pumpkins we picked.  The annual carving project commenced tonight, and things went well!  Just two more days to go...

We finally had some family pictures taken again this weekend!  Luckily, our pictures were scheduled for sunny Sunday, instead of dreary Saturday.  We think we were able to get some good ones, and Heidi, our photographer, gave us this glimpse on Facebook....

They look like they adore each other, don't they?  Underneath all the quarrels are two sisters who love each other very much. :)  We can't wait to see the rest!

Jade

We were able to stop by and see Aunt Jade all dressed up for Homecoming.  The weather was crummy, but Jade looked beautiful!  We were glad to see her, and we hope she had a wonderful evening!

These goofy girls got to spend a little of their savings this weekend.  Almost all from their piggy banks was put into the bank, with the exception of $5.  Audrey picked out a tiny baby doll, and Kate picked out a smaller Mickey to go with her normal-sized Mickey.

Homecoming Friday!

What a gorgeous day we had for Homecoming on Friday!  The weather was perfect for a parade and football game.  This year's parade weather was especially important because we had a mini cheerleader participating in it!  Audrey got to walk with the other participants in the cheer clinic, along with performing at a community pep assembly later.  Her evening was capped off by cheering once again at the very crowded football game!  Even though we could tell she was nervous, we were so proud of how she did!  I'll post a video of her cheering at the pep rally soon.

After such a busy week, we definitely did not make it to the end of the game; however, the Pirates did pull through with a 46-0 victory!  What a fun week we had!
