I feel like the girls were involved in a mock senior picture photo shoot. Too bad Kate is shorter than the subject she is photographing!

Cookie Decorating Kit
Easter felt different this year, not going to church or getting together with family. One thing remained the same, though. The joy that young kids possess on a holiday is priceless! Audrey and Kate do bring a tremendous amount of happiness and fun to our holidays, and I decided to try something new this year. I ordered a sugar cookie kit for us to use to decorate, and it was so delicious and so much fun. I could have eaten that frosting plain very easily! It was worth the drive and money to have something different to do!

Kate's Boyfriend
The girls and I have been writing notes to mail to people most days, and twice, Kate has written to her "boyfriend". His mom sent me a picture back, and it melted my heart.

Pets
Our pets have been getting lots of attention during our time at home, both good and bad. Sadie is in heaven, Mila and Belle's naps get interrupted too much, and our outdoor pets are loving our time playing outside. Playing with our group of 5 pets does bring us extra joy each day! Notice how there is not a picture of Mila. She loves her Mom and Dad but does not tolerate the girls' shenanigans.

Adventures with Mittens
When our quarantine was first starting, Audrey asked if we could take Mittens to a park on a leash. I agreed, and it worked really well at first. It worked wonderfully until a dog broke through its invisible fence and scared Mittens. Mittens broke her leash and ran up a tree. She was so high up that I couldn't reach her or get her to move for almost an hour. It was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had. Luckily, with a rock to her behind, Mittens finally crawled down, and all ended happily. Morale of the story...cats were NOT meant to be on leashes!

Hide and Seek
We have been playing a lot outside each day, and we have had a lot of fun playing with our pets. A few days we have played hide and seek with Sadie. She goes in the garage with me, the girls hide, and then Sadie and I try to find them. One hiding spot really confused Sadie....her hut!
