Here's a picture of Audrey from this week! She's such a gorgeous little lady and has been doing so well. She has loved being outside during this nice weather and comes home with a new injury daily. We just purchased a "new" bike for her from a garage sale today, and she zoomed down the sidewalk at a fast pace, ringing her little bell. She is also growing quickly and cracks us up daily with her conversation. Today, for example, we were at a stop sign behind a motorcycle. She said, "Who's that?" I said, "I don't know. What do you think his name is?" She said, "Pete." She and I keep making plans for many parks and pool trips this summer. We both can't wait for so many "Mom Days" in a row!

Kate: Five Months
We're still here! It's a busy time of the year for us all, and Kate has been battling yet another cold/ear infection. Poor girl! She is on the mend, though.
Kate turned five months a week ago, and her runny nose cooperated well enough today to get some good pictures. She is such a sweetheart! She is so smiley, continues to talk constantly, and still has been a good sleeper. She's started to be better about putting herself to sleep at night and has for a few naps, too.
She rolled over this month, and is now such a champ at it! When she's put on her play mat, she'll roll almost immediately to her stomach. She then begins to work at scooting her way across the mat to the carpet. It's pretty amazing how far she can move in a short time. She is such a strong girl!
Kate now sleeps without her arms being swaddled at night, and she made that transition well, too. When I went in this morning to get her up, she had even slept on her stomach for part of the night. She'll be just like her big sister!
As it said in the last post, she can sit up unsupported for a bit before tipping to one side. If I hold her legs, she can even reach out and grab an object while sitting up.
Kate has changed so dramatically this past month, and next month will bring trying out some foods. She is growing quickly, and we're all excited for a fun summer together to watch those changes happen! Happy Five Months, Kate!

| Kate has loved chewing/sucking on her lower lip lately. She also has begun to stick her tongue out like a little lizard. |

Happy Mother's Day!
The best part of Mother's Day is reflecting on how lucky I am to have these two beautiful ladies! The rainy, cool mid-day did not dampen our picnic spirit. Audrey even tried out the play equipment for awhile until the rain got too heavy. Thank you to all the wonderful women who play an important role in our girls' lives--aunts, grandmas, friends, day care, etc. We so appreciate the love you offer them!

Pictures
The photo session on Saturday went so well! Our photographer was awesome, the girls were well-behaved, and Audrey even got to play on the swing set outside when she was done. Could it get any better? We won't have the CD of all the photos until later this week, but Heidi posted some on Facebook today. They look so gorgeous, and I can't wait to see them all. Audrey was even caught with a genuine smile on her face. It's a miracle!!
