Fishing with Geeka
This past week, we told advantage of some dry and not-so-humid weather to drive up and go fishing with Geeka. The girls were so excited, and luckily, the fish were biting quite successfully. Audrey caught 6, including one bass, and Kate caught 3. Kate's enthusiasm dimmed slightly when she accidentally got a hook in the leg. She wasn't injured, but typical to Miss Kate, she refused to keep trying after that! We will try again in July, when hopefully the water level has gone down. Thanks, Geeka!

More Cousin Fun
We were so excited to get to spend a little more time with cousins over the past week. We saw everyone throughout the week and were even able to have Elizabeth spend the night with us. It was a night filled with Barbies, babies, dress up, and painting. The girls had so much fun and wished Elizabeth could have stayed longer!

A Night with Jack
A couple of weekends ago, we got to have Jack down to spend the night with us. It was a last minute decision, but it proved to be so fun for us all. We tried to pack as much as we could into our hours with him and were sad to see him go. Come back
soon, Jack, with your very accurate shoes!

Cousins
After so many weeks apart, we have finally been able to get together with cousins and play outside. A few weekends ago, when playgrounds were still closed in Iowa, we drove to meet Elizabeth and Rosie to play in open Wisconsin. The girls were SO excited to see their cousins and play on equipment. It warmed my heart to see such excitement and joy!

A Piece of Cheese
Over the weekend, Kate lost her third tooth, which was one of her top front teeth. She is now talking with a sweet lisp, which I love. I carefully placed the tooth on the counter to wait for Kate to take it to her room for the tooth fairy. When it was bedtime, Kate ran down to grab her tooth but accidentally grabbed a piece of shredded mozzarella cheese that was also on the counter. It was a good thing Jeremy figured it out, or the tooth fairy might not have left any money!
