After last week's terribly windy, gloomy, rainy days, the girls and I welcomed Sunday's sun with open arms. We went on an early morning walk around town and made a pit stop at the school's playground. We snuck back to the preschool part of the playground and had a private play time for almost an hour. It was awesome! The playground was perfect for Kate's size and climbing ability. On the way back from the playground, a small piece fell off one of the wagon's wheels. It just happened to be on Kate's end of the wagon, and Audrey said, "It didn't happen by me because I'm not a load." Poor Kate! Mornings like this make us even more anxious for summer's flexibility and extra time together.

Wedding
Last weekend, we were so excited to celebrate the wedding of Eric and Kirstin. It was a beautiful day, filled with a wonderful ceremony, delicious food, and good company. Audrey was very happy to be able to hold Kirstin's flowers during the ceremony, and Jeremy was very happy to get to serve as the ring bearer! We are so happy for Eric and Kirstin, and we thank them for letting us be a part of their special day.

Egg Hunt
The final Easter post revolves around the egg hunt on Easter morning, after church! The girls were off and running as soon as the hunt began. Kate's little legs couldn't quite keep up with Audrey, but she definitely understood the concept. Even when all the eggs had been found and emptied, Kate wanted us to continue to hide (or just throw) the eggs, so that she could keep on finding them. Since Audrey had lost interest at that point, Kate had no competition. She loved it! Thanks, Grandpa and Grandma, for all the delicious treats in those eggs!
| Thanks to Uncle Justin for helping us re-hide the eggs! :) |

Easter Beauties
With the dreary weather we have had this week, our minds keep returning to how beautiful Easter weekend was. Part of the beauty we experienced was seeing our two little ladies all dressed up. Both looked so gorgeous, and it reminded us how quickly the girls are growing up.

Easter Bunny
What a beautiful Easter weekend we all enjoyed together! The weather was just perfect, and we had a lot of great family time. There will be a few posts this week to highlight our weekend.
Even though Audrey is nervous at the thought of being close to the Easter Bunny, she was very excited at the prospect of having a visit from him. She set out both girls' baskets the night before Easter and was eager when she woke to see what was in the baskets. After going through her own basket, it was hard to wait for Kate to wake to go through hers. :) Audrey received some water wings for the pool this summer, and Kate got some much-needed new shoes in a bigger size. Add in a little candy and a new book, it was a successful Easter for the girls! Pictures will come later this week of the girls in their Easter dresses and another egg hunt.
