Butterfly Catching

We have enjoyed many slow-paced days at home this summer, and the girls have had fun using their imaginations a bit more to occupy themselves. One Sunday's activity of choice was catching butterflies. It was so fun to watch them work together without fighting, and even better, they had chosen to wear their matching tie dye shirts and looked adorable. The sad ending to the fun day was that almost all of the 7 captured butterflies were dead by the next morning.🦋

Batting with Geeka

Last weekend the girls got in some extra batting practice in the batting cage with Geeka as their pitcher. It must have done the trick because Aud went 2/2 in her game this week. Whoo hoo! Thanks, Geeka. 

Happy Birthday, Sadie!

Our loveable, sweet, crazy, and still destructive Sadie turned 4 yesterday. To celebrate, she got a car ride, a special bone filled with cheese and bacon, a couple hours of hanging out in the basement and Audrey's room, and a few new toys. Sadie continues to test her dad's patience on a daily basis, but she also continues to add a lot of love to our family. Happy Birthday, Sades!

Start to Summer

Between new haircuts and swimming lessons every day, our summer is off to a great start!

Congratulations, Jade!

In May, we traveled to Ames to celebrate Jade's graduation. Jade has worked so hard over the past 4 years, so it was a wonderful accomplishment for her! The girls may have thought the ceremony was long, Kate may have stuck her fingers in her mouth after touching the handrail at Hilton, we may have gotten rained on walking to the car, and we may have been stuck in traffic after for 35 minutes, but it was all worth it for Jade!😀 Congrats, Jade! We are all very proud of you!
