Cousin Fun

While in Galena, time with cousins was filled with an amazing game table, some crazy dancing, time in the hot tub, and an annual fall egg hunt.

Galena Shopping

We were able to once again all gather in Galena with my side of the family. It is a weekend the girls look forward to all year! They love their cousins! Here are a few pictures from the time spent shopping:

Happy 13th Birthday, Aud!

Our beautiful oldest girl is now a teenager! How fast the years fly by. Audrey's day was spent by getting her hair cut and straightened, a drink from Starbucks, some shopping at Target, lunch at Panera, a play downtown, and her requested supper/dessert at home. It was a good day, and we were happy to be joined by Grandma for the play. 

It is amazing how quickly the years have gone. Audrey has grown into a caring, loving, artistic, creative, and overly dramatic young lady. We love her big heart and are so grateful to have her in our family.

Happy 13th, Audrey! We love you. 

Pumpkins

Our pumpkin carving tradition commenced last weekend, and both girls experienced success! With our warm fall, we were concerned our pumpkins would be mushy, but it all worked out well. Kate successfully carved a rat, and Aud found a fun pattern with a bigger pumpkin eating a smaller one. She watched a video online and was able to follow the instructions herself. It all turned out well, and no one had to wear a garbage bag!
