Last weekend we snuck away for a weekend in the Wisconsin Dells to the Great Wolf Lodge. It was a freezing cold weekend, which meant it was perfect to stay inside and swim. We stayed in a beautiful condo, the girls LOVED time with their cousins, and we tried out a fun restaurant where our food was brought to us on a train. One extra big win for the weekend was that Kate gained some wonderful confidence to try bigger slides.

You can tell we have had four snow/ice days this month when the girls do a photo shoot for Millie. Surprisingly, she cooperated quite well for normally being a crazy lady!
The story of the past week has been snow, wind, and now, COLD. We had three snow days and a late start last week, so we have been enjoying some quality time snuggled up together at home. Sadie is also spending time in the basement barking at a hissing Millie, so things are never dull!
Thankfully we had some warmer days before the cold settled in to get Aud and Kate some good time in the snow!
In November, we were able to make our annual trip to Galena with my side of the family. We celebrated birthdays, shopped a little, ate good food together, laughed a lot, and heard crazy cousins having fun together. We are so lucky it works into everyone's schedules because it is a treasured time for us all!
