Glasses

Today Audrey seemed to go from a little girl to a big girl in one motion.  After finding out last week that she was in need of glasses, we picked them up today.  As soon as she put on the pink glasses she insisted on getting, she looked extremely grown-up.  She is such a beautiful lady!  It will take her a little bit to get used to the glasses, and we hope the glasses can withstand her daily routines!

Kate was too busy playing with her water table today to even look at me for a picture.  She has so much to get done each day!

Boxes

Over the past three weeks, our house has slowly been taken over by boxes.  We have less room to live in right now, and it drives the two adults crazy!  The girls, however, have loved it.  Each night is an adventure as boxes are climbed in, and imaginations run wild!  Giggles and stories can be heard coming from the boxes; that is, unless someone pokes someone or a baby is taken or a book is grabbed....

Pool

We have gotten out our "turtle pool" quite a few times already, and the girls have LOVED it.  Audrey loves putting her hair down and running through the water, and Kate seems to enjoy playing in the pool water more.  Both girls have to enjoy the sprinkler aspect of the pool immediately when pool play begins, as Dad does not love for the water to be on for too long.  Can anyone guess why?

Audrey has requested the pool now be set in the front yard, so that she can watch to see if a neighbor girl, Riley, is home from daycare.  That way she can invite Riley over to the pool and be social.  It seems that already, our three-year-old prefers being with friends to family! :)  Here are a few pictures of our girls enjoying the pool.

Silly Girls

Audrey invited Kate to ride on the back of the tricycle one evening, and it's been a big hit ever since!  It's a requirement that Audrey doesn't go too fast because it's hard for the adult to keep up and hold onto Kate.  Things can get kind of dangerous when these two are brainstorming ideas together!

Isn't this a perfect picture of summer?  Eating supper in a swimsuit, sporting a strawberry shake mustache, and having watermelon juice dripping from your chin.
