All our snow has brought so much excitement for Audrey, as she loves to play outside in snow. It has been especially fun as the temperatures have warmed up. Kate isn't quite as excited about playing outside, but what does get her a little excited is Dad pulling them with the four wheeler. This year we found a way to rig up two sleds, so that they didn't have to even touch each other. Win!
A blog to celebrate the life and times of our two adorable little girls!

Personal Space
Kate had a lesson during guidance time at school about personal space. She drew a picture of someone who breaks into her personal space a lot. Any guesses who?

New Year's Eve
We spent our New Year's Eve as a family and had a pretty great day together. We started by going to AirFX and experiencing the jumpies. Jeremy and I had never jumped before, and we had a great time. Even Audrey admitted it was more fun as a family than at parties with friends. Maybe it was because there weren't any dramatic fights that tend to occur at girl parties! We continued the day with lunch out and ended the day with movie night and popcorn. What a sweet way to ring in 2020!

Mall Animals
While the large majority of any money the girls are given is put into savings, we did let them spend a small amount after Christmas. When we were at the mall, the girls spied those animals you can ride on. Jeremy and I always tell them no, but with their own money, who could tell them no?
Man, those five minutes were the best of their whole day, and the looks on their faces were priceless. More rides may be in their future!

Go Hawks!
The Friday after Christmas was spent cheering for our dear Hawkeyes, who were playing in the Holiday Bowl. The girls put on matching attire, painted their nails, and were ready for the game. Sweet Kate talked NON STOP the entire first half, while Audrey asked insightful questions and actually tried to pay attention. By the time halftime rolled around, we all needed Kate to go to bed! 😊 We are working hard to start the girls on a solid Hawkeye foundation, with Panthers sprinkled in too!

Christmas with Great-Grandma
Our final Christmas was spent up at Great-Grandma's house on the afternoon of Christmas Day. The girls again enjoyed some good cousin time, which included some loudness and giggles. Aunt Coke was able to get a picture of all the great-grandchildren sitting with Great-Grandma, which was pretty awesome. We were so happy to get in some good family time over the holidays!
| We think cuddling with Will is going to make Dad want more kids! :) |
