In January, we had to say goodbye to another sweet pet in our life. Charlie, who was the cat who came with our house, really deteriorated during the month of December. We determined the first Friday in January that it was time to put her to sleep. The afternoon before her appointment, she passed away peacefully. She was a wonderful cat...affectionate, a great hunter of mice, and truly the top dog of our outdoor animal crew. She was consistently putting Sadie in her place! We loved Charlie like one of our own, and we miss her. Aud said she hopes Belle and Charlie have become friends in heaven!
