Valentine Rose

Sweet Kate must have known I wasn't going to get flowers from her dad for Valentine's Day, so she took her dreaded slime and made me this. Then she said she'll do it for me every year, so that I can always have a rose for Valentine's Day. Ahhhhhh, Kate.

Weekend Away

Back in January, we took a little weekend away to a remote cabin in NE Iowa. It was so remote our phones had no service, and it kind of felt good to hide away. Our favorite part, besides the company, was the hot tub outside. The girls also loved the bunk beds! We made them both sleep on the bottom bunks for safety.🙂 All in all, it was a much-needed change of scenery, even if the scenery included a fish on the wall that scared both girls!

Audrey's Twin

One day we noticed one of our 4th grade teachers was wearing a shirt similar to one Audrey owned. So, they planned to wear them on the same day to match. It was so cute! Mrs. Miles told Audrey people kept calling her Audrey all day! 🙂

Cookie Art

As a special treat for Valentine's Day, I bought four cookies from a baker in town who sells from her home. I had seen the cookies at Christmastime and was intrigued, so I was glad they were offered again. Our two little Picassos had such a fun time painting them, and the cookies were so big, it lasted us two meals! What a fun, sweet treat! We will definitely try out more from this baker in the future!

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day from our sweet, slighty crazy, but always entertaining young ladies! Thankfully we were still able to pass out valentines at school, which is the best part of the holiday for the girls. Audrey even did a special valentine exchange with a boy in her class. These ladies are growing up too fast!

Flexible

As soon as our world trends a bit more back to normal, I want to get this girl back in dance. Holy moly, can she bend and move!
