Adventure Park

One day of our vacation was spent at a place in a nearby town that had go carts, bumper cars, mini golf and a trampoline to jump on with bungees. Minus a HUGE downpour of rain that threatened to end our time, we had so much fun! Kate especially loved flipping around on the trampolines.  Audrey was slightly nervous to try the adult go carts, but in the end, she had a blast! 

All in all, it was a soaking wet, fabulous time!

Fishing on Vacation

One beautiful evening, Uncle Eric had scoped out a spot for fishing. We headed there after supper, and it was a perfect little experience for the kids. Almost every cast brought in a fish, which is perfect for kids with short attention spans! 

Vacation #2

One gorgeous morning of the vacation was spent at a nearby park. The kids all had fun wading in water, collecting snail shells, and playing in the sand. It was such a sweet experience to again see the simple joy brought on by playing in the water with cousins nearby. I was surprised we squeaked through the experience without Audrey asking for a pet snail to come home with us!

Our Vacation

We took a vacation in early July to a small town north of the Twin Cities. The real draw to this location was the beautiful lake home we rented. It was a road away from a picturesque lake, and the cousins loved wading in it, throwing rocks, and giggling as they explored in the water. Sometimes the simplest things produce the best memories!
