Kate the Gymnast

After two years of begging, Kate was FINALLY signed up for a weekly gymnastic class. She goes each Saturday morning and smiles the entire time. It definitely seems to come more naturally for her; however, she gets pushed each week to try something that is a little harder for her, too. It has been a great experience for Little Miss Bendy so far!

Trunk or Treat

We took advantage of the warm fall temperatures last weekend to attend a trunk or treat at an area church.  It was a unique Iowa experience to be able to wear Halloween costumes without coats, hats, mitten or anything underneath to stay warm. These cuties had fun and are beginning to replenish their candy supply. Here are our 70s girl and half angel/half trickster!

Party with Friends

Audrey's social life has picked up the older she has gotten, and last week she had a sleepover with one of her closest friends, Katelynn. Being more actively socially can bring with it some drama, but, in the end, it is a lot of fun to watch her spread her wings and become her own wonderful person.

Homecoming Fun

Besides Hat Day, these cuties enjoyed a lot of purple and gold fun this week as we cheered on the Pirates. They both took part in a cheer clinic, and Audrey also got to march in the parade to throw out candy for the PTO. The weather was chillier by the end of the week, but it really was a gorgeous fall week! To cap it all off, the Pirates beat the Indians 52-7. Way to go, Pirates!

Hat Day

These two are pretty cute every day, but there's something especially adorable this Hat Day during Homecoming Week!

One perk of teaching where my girls go to school is getting to hear different stories from their days. One good friend told me last week that she had this conversation with Kate in the hallway when she was walking down with another girl. 

"Hi, Girls. What are you two up to?"

Kate: "Just two creeps walking down the hallway."
