Parade

Today 50 teacher's cars and 1 bus from our tiny district lined up to drive on a route throughout the whole district to wave at our families. The girls had fun decorating our car, and shockingly enough, Jeremy did not object too much to the homemade window paint. I saw about 3/4 of my class sprinkled throughout the route, and I had tears in my eyes the whole time! This time away has been hard, and Audrey said it best when she said, "Seeing people today made me miss them more."

What an amazing little community we live in!

Sisters

Some days it seems these two fight ALL DAY LONG. Once in awhile, though, sweetness comes through like this.

Week #1

Our first week of quarantining is complete, and we all survived with smiles (mostly). We are staying hopeful that we get to go back to school this year because we do miss our family there! We have kept busy each day with learning, playing, and chores. We have been outside each day and chatted online to family, too. One highlight from the week was doing makeovers and trying on my old dresses. It cracked me up!

Hike

These next few weeks holed up in our house will be interesting. We are missing our school family already, but this is what is best. Today we went outside and hiked in a nearby park, all while keeping our distance from others. For an hour, we breathed in fresh air, put aside our worries, and enjoyed some giggles and exercise. For these two crazy ladies, it will just be a small blip in their lives, barely a memory. For now we pray, connect through other ways, and keep breathing in that fresh air!

First Dance

With all that is worrisome right now, it felt good to send our excited girl off to her first dance last night. It was sponsored by a 4H group and only lasted an hour, but she had a lot of fun. We hurried home after school because Audrey thinks her hair looks best when it has just been washed. She did look adorable, and I actually got tears in my eyes. Audrey is growing up!

Will Snuggles

Audrey was so excited to get in some snuggles with Will this weekend. This girl definitely loves her babies!

Magnificent and Marvelous Audrey

Audrey has waited all school year to be the star on the bulletin board in her 2nd grade room for the whole week. She ended up being the second to last kid, so we waited a long time! She finally got it last week and loved having her pictures displayed on the board and getting nice notes from her friends. To top it all off, her sweet dad even brought Mittens to visit on Friday.
