Dance Pictures

A couple weekends ago, our beautiful ballerinas dressed in their recital costumes for dance pictures.  We had another traumatic experience with make-up; however, Kate seemed more open to the mascara process than Audrey.  The girls looked beautiful, and now we are eagerly awaiting the recital in a couple weeks!

Also, happy snow day on April 18th!  Winter HAS to be done soon.

Egg Hunting

The weather sure didn't make egg hunting an easy thing to do this year!  The one in town was first postponed because of a heavy snow storm one March weekend, and then cancelled altogether the following weekend when the weather was extremely windy, cool, and wet.  Luckily, the egg hunt at Geeka and Grandma's was able to go on no matter what!  It was cool outside, but the girls had a wonderful time hunting for eggs!  The cold weather seemed to bother the adults more than the kids. :)

Thank you to Geeka and Grandma for preparing and hiding the eggs once again!  We had so much fun!

Egg Dyeing

After a hiatus from egg dyeing last year, we were so glad to have Dad with us for the process again this year!  I swear he loves dyeing the eggs as much as the girls.  Each year the girls get a little more creative and into the process, and it's become more fun and less hectic.  This year the star of the egg show was probably Jeremy's red and blue egg, which took an immense amount of concentration.  All the eggs turned out beautifully, though, and it will be fun to see what next year brings!

If you have noticed Kate has been wearing this dress a lot, you are right.  Each weekend when the girls pick out their clothes, Kate picks this dress, and Audrey picks a black and white polka dotted sweater.  Every weekend it occurs without fail!

This is the level of concentration it took the WHOLE process.

Happy Easter!

We have had another wonderful year of Easter celebrations!  Even with the cold weather this Easter break, we were able to sneak in an Easter egg hunt with Geeka and Grandma, egg dyeing with Dad, beautiful dresses, and some wonderful memories with our family.  More pictures will come, but for now, here is Easter 2018! :)
