Strawberry Picking

At the beginning of the summer, I asked each girl to make a 'summer bucket list' of three things the girls each wanted to do this summer. Kate's first item was one that was on a schedule, picking strawberries. We traveled up north of Independence to Bagge Farm two days after the u-pick time started. Geeka, Grandma, and Jack were able to join us, too, and man, were the strawberries red, ripe, plentiful, and delicious. It was such a fun experience, and we thought these were some of the best strawberries we had eaten. Since the day ended with some ice cream at Dairy Queen, we will call Kate's first item a success!
